Sway my way

The arid theory is put to test
Let’s do the dance
I see you watch me from space
You know I see you watch me from space
Who could care about caution?
the air is tempting and right.

You won’t know if it’s worth the fight
There’s more to me than sight
Stranger, but there are things to find
unfold and discover
Another world to reveal in a view
But will you make your move?

You can see me reaching
I’m miles from this place
It’s not so hard to take a flight
So bring me back to where I belong
Your world is new and strange
Will you care to take me there?

Constant stare that turns to laughter
A new fondness for one another
Don’t sit there just watching
be trapped inside your head
I’ll forgive your indecision
But you won't find me again.

The first

‘Hello there’, twirling dirt on the floor
Am I blushing again?
Damn!  I wish this didn’t happen
Bit my lips, I swear again
Here, feel this fever
Awe your hand cool as winter
Burns on the skin of my hand
My temple burns like the stove
My face could fry you froth
I think I should sprint
Alas, my feet are bond
What superglue
What strange numbness
Nerves, blood rushing
Through and through
Million eyeballs
Blank countenance
Dodgy peace
No people, there’s nothing here
It’s hard to imagine you naked
That’s my friend’s advice
I can’t toddle or lope
and my foot
it won’t budge or move.

Rediscover

Subtle and moving in slow motion
everything turns grey and white
wondering how long this phase will last
before I make my choice to unwrap again

To the warmth of a bare infection.

We met without saying goodbyes
Every mile will inch me closer
There’s more to write and discover
Indecision pushes it further away
my stubbornness reigns to blind the view.

Not learning but closing each door
maybe someday I’ll run to discover
further down the path I’ve walked
there’s an incomprehensible prize
to find it be mine.
