Race for Life
While we say we are our own person
and every man walks his walk
paves his way
makes his own destiny,
Life is but a non-stop race.
Everyone is summoned
Everyone seems to be participating
The race started long before
Everyobe you know
Seems to be cheering you on
Seems to be cheering you on
Seems to be expecting something more.
The race has got into your head
It has become a part of you.
every little thing is a huddle to overcome
every day is a route to something new
the whole world is in a race
and so are you.
Let’s sit back and do comprehend
Take an out-of-body tour
and watch ourselves though a floating eye
See what we are running towards,
We have missed so many scenes in life
the illusion that's painted
the empty flare and flake
does not add on to who you are.
So...
lets take a detour
lets mender my friend
to the forest and grove beyond
and the tranquility it brings.
